Exhibition by member Tom Hackney

For the rest of this year every month a different member of The Staffordshire Artists Co-operative will be exhibiting their work in Gallery at 12, these exhibitions will be in addition to their work normally on show in the gallery. Many of the members have been accepted into the co-operative with the understanding that they only display work in a certain style or discipline in the gallery but as artists work and styles move on so it was decided that each member would be given the opportunity to have an exhibition to show the full range of their work or to try out new ideas - this month Tom Hackney is exhibiting his work, normally Tom would just have his abstract pieces in the gallery so this is a great opportunity to view a full range of his work - so if you would like to see more of Tom's art work you have until the end of March - so please pop in to take a look

wildlife art exhibition

For the whole of September Gallery at 12 is hosting the lovely exhibition of wildlife art by Kim Robinson.
Kim creates beautiful wildlife art using pen and ink with a watercolour wash, her range includes prints, cards and printed gift ware including tea towels and bags.

Exhibition for August - Louise Poole - equine artist

Welcome to the new exhibition for August in our gallery
'Louise Poole has been around horses all her life and has great admiration for their magnificent charisma and spirit. Louise says her artwork is produced from her nervous energy, she hopes this energy helps capture the essence and wild spirit of the horse'.

Photographic exhibition

I had the privilege of manning the Gallery again this afternoon which gave me the opportunity to view the new exhibition for April.

Colin Preston is a photographer based on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border and several of his photographs in his exhibition are of local scenes - One of the first things that was very noticeable was the stunning colours in these striking landscapes.

This is Colin's first ever exhibition, I hope it won't be his last and I wish him every success as he continues with his photographic journey

Tanglewood Art - this month's exhibition

We are very happy to be housing an exhibition of art work by Carole Knight of Tanglewood Art this month.
I was in the gallery this afternoon and everyone who visited the upstairs gallery commented on how much they liked Carole's work.

New exhibition by David Heath

Today was the launch of the latest exhibition in Gallery at 12. This month we are hosting an exhibition of pastel and coloured pencil work by David Heath. Many of his pieces are based on views from his walks in Shropshire and also his nine day Coast to Coast walk completed in May 2010.

Exhibition for September 'Light in The landscape'

We are very privileged to be hosting the very first exhibition by Freda Harris entitled 'Light in The Landscape'
Freda is an artist working in water colours, acrylics, pastels, oils and mixed media below is a selection of her lovely work currently being exhibited

There are also two baskets full of cards for you to browse through too.

New Exhibition for August

Following on from the popular exhibition of Newcastle under Lyme students, we have now welcomed our August exhibition of work by Textile artists Margaret Horton and Joan Brailsford.
Lovely work- I strongly urge you to come along to take a look.
